So, this is the final card in the series. Yay!
I got this card late last year, right around the time the Fed lowered interest rates the first time (I think). Anyways, it was one of those offers that came in the mail-0% interest for a period of time, yadda yadda. Normally inclined to shred these things, I took a look and realized this was a really great deal! The zero interest rate was going to last for over a year, until 02/09; the interest rate afterward would be 9.99%. I felt like I'd just found buried treasure.
Now, this offer came just a month or so after I had already opened up another Chase card (CC #6), and I really didn't know if I would be able to open another so soon after. But I gave it a shot anyways and hoped for the best. Good thing too, since now I'm paying down a boatload of debt at 0%!
This card makes me feel like I did something right along the way. All the struggle to make timely payments, to pay more than the minimum due, talking to the credit card companies about interest rates...all of that slogging paid off with this card.
